Professor James A Mulick has published over 100 peer reviewed articles, chapters and books in the areas of learning, developmental psychobiology, behaviour analysis, mental retardation and developmental disabilities, policy analysis, curriculum development for advanced and postdoctoral professional education and AUTISM.
James has held teaching and research positions at North-eastern University, the University of Rhode Island, and the Brown University Program in Medicine. He is a current tenured Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and a joint appointment in the Psychology Department at The Ohio State University.

FREE: Introduction to Autism Early Intervention
Behavioural research spanning several decades has helped in the development of treatment interventions for individuals with autism. Using principles of applied behavioural analysis, together with a robust and structured program, children with autism can be helped to make gains in language, communication, academics, behaviour, self help and social skills.
Behavioural research has consistently supported early and intensive intervention. The brain plasticity of the young child provides a critical window of opportunity to habilitate toward a normal child developmental trajectory.
